    Baby’s First Cold

    09/18 /No Comments

Well this has been fun! Coop starting showing symptoms Saturday night and it went downhill in a hurry. I suppose I can’t complain that he is just getting his first cold at seven months old. In turn we are more financially secure than my parents were. I don’t remember ever having play-dates.…

    Yogurt Silly Putty

    08/22 /No Comments

I found this on smartschoolhouse.com. They have a YouTube page as well if you prefer a video how to. Ingredients: Corn starch Yogurt (we used strawberry yogurt). Make sure it’s a yogurt without chunks of fruit. Directions: Mix together 1 cup of yogurt and 3/4 cups of corn starch When the mixture is no longer sticky, pick it up and roll the putty into a ball (to further mix the yogurt and corn starch) If it’s too sticky, sprinkle in additional corn starch. If it’s too dry, add a bit more yogurt   It’s so soft and addicting to play with. Plus it smells pretty good too! A little soap…
