Well we did it! Moved cross country with a 19 month old baby and a 14 year old Labrador! Oh and we survived our first week back with work and the humidity! All in all the fact I can smile still and have hair is astonishing! Coop and Abby did really well on the trip. Not Your Same Ole Oatmeal
I have been experimenting the past couple of days with ways to make oatmeal for Coop. He is very hands on with his food and a bowl of oatmeal just won’t do. Best Ever! Zucchini Bread
I have made a ton of zucchini bread with different variations and have finally found THE BEST EVER! I have made this twice this week already and have requests for more. This recipe is perfect consistency, flavor and balance of spice with sweet. Of course you can always substitute things such as sugar, oil and spices but as this one is it really is perfect! Oh my word these are amazing! We are typically a 2 to 3 taco per person in our house. I had 5 and lost count how many my hubby ate! So good and easy since the pork is precooked and shredded from the weekend. Pork The Other White Meat
A couple of weeks ago I cooked a 3lb pork roast on the grill. I didn’t realize how much meat that would render but I soon learned you can eat on that for a week easy! Wildlife Sanctuary
Last week we had the pleasure of visiting The Wild Animal Sanctuary. The Wild Animal Sanctuary currently operates with more than 9,793 acres of beautiful and natural habitat for its rescued animals to enjoy. Their animals come from horrific captive situations and are rescued and also rehabilitated so they can live and roam freely in large natural habitats with others of their own kind. It was a one of a kind experience and while tears were shed from reading their stories, I am very grateful for the work this organization is doing.
