Now this isn’t the typical s’mores you would think of but a modified easier to eat and a touch of healthy packed in. Since strawberries are in season this was a perfect treat for the day. French Toast Bake
So incredibly yummy! I had a half loaf of sourdough bread left and took a shot at making something with it. As you can see the pan is small so if you make more increase eggs and milk. Hope y’all enjoy! Ohh and the music is a great pick me up! Lil Zac Brown! If you prefer to read and print the recipe see below. This French Toast is so incredibly easy to make and is my go to meal in the mornings. I can prep and pop in the oven while getting ready for work. My family loves the syrup fruit mixture that I make with it as well!

Shredded Pork Tacos
Oh my word these are amazing! We are typically a 2 to 3 taco per person in our house. I had 5 and lost count how many my hubby ate! So good and easy since the pork is precooked and shredded from the weekend. (recipe here) To heat the pork I pan fried the meat with all of my seasonings and the crispy bits and tender meat was ridiculous good! Top with your favorites like avocado, lettuce, cheese, sour cream, queso, cilantro, whatever your palate desires! Serve with a side of black beans or pintos and enjoy! Pan frying the meat makes these simply amazing! Do not microwave the meat…

Carolina Style BBQ Sandwich’s
You can’t go wrong with BBQ sandwich’s anytime of the week! Serve with slaw and hushpuppies and you have a perfect Southern meal! (Grilled Pork Recipe) There is a somewhat light-hearted feud that exists between the proponents of the two types of barbecue: Western style and Eastern style. What are the differences of the two you ask? Western Style: Western style barbecue (occasionally also referred to as Piedmont style) uses a “red” sauce/dip that is seasoned with ketchup, vinegar, and pepper, along with other spices that vary from recipe to recipe. It is most common in the Piedmont (central) and western areas of the state. This style uses only the…

Skillet Shepherds Pie
This is hands down one of my favorite dishes! It is meat and potatoes so what’s not to love, right! Leftovers are minimal and this is super easy to make. I don’t have exact measurements for my seasonings as smell is how I gauge my dishes. You can also substitute minced garlic for garlic powder, or use both. Hope y’all enjoy! Super easy and tasty dish perfect for weeknight dinner. You can also make this a day ahead and reheat.

Cast Iron Skillet Lasagna
I love love love lasagna! We haven’t been able to find a spot I consider great since moving to Colorado so I decided to make my own! I used my cast iron skillet of course and couldn’t be happier with the results. Okay maybe a touch more sauce, cause I like it saucy, would have been my only change. Can’t wait for y’all to try it and let me know what you think! I used regular-boil lasagna noodles since I personally am not a fan of oven ready. This also cuts the time down to an already very time consuming recipe!

Best Pizza Ever!
As y’all know I am a homemade kinda cook. After spending way too much on pizza that I didn’t like from restaurants I decided to tackle homemade pizza dough! I have tweaked and merged a few recipes together and voila! Have found the perfect mix. In stand mixer mixing bowl stir together the warm water, sugar & yeast. Attach your dough hook and let stand until the mixture is foamy, about 10 minutes. While the yeast is proofing, combine flour, and salt in a separate mixing bowl. Once the yeast is foamy, add the flour/salt mixture & olive oil to the bowl and turn on mixer to about speed 3…

Lil Hands Breakfast Ideas
My lil dude likes variety when it comes to his food. I don’t blame him being a foodie myself, so I have come up with creative ways to incorporate fruit & veggies into his breakfast. So far they have all been a huge success! Snowman Banana French Toast: 1 egg Splash of milk 3-4 slices of bread of choice ½ banana Cinnamon Cardamom EVOO for skillet Cookie cutter shape of choice, I used a snowman Whisk egg & milk together until blended. Mash banana in the egg mixture. It is okay if lumpy. Push bread slices in the mixture, both sides, until well…
