5-Minute Banana, Blueberry + Avocado Puree

    07/10 /No Comments

5-MINUTE BANANA, BLUEBERRY + AVOCADO BABY PUREE   Such a simple puree that is packed with goodness! Avocado’s were some of the first foods I introduced to my little one and mixed with his favorites, this is a definite treat. INGREDIENTS: 1 cup blueberries, if using frozen thaw first 1 banana 1/2 avocado, peeled 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice INSTRUCTIONS Place all of the ingredients into a blender and process for 1-2 minutes on high speed, scrapping down sides every 30 seconds helps puree the blueberry peels. If puree is super thick, add in water 1 tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency. Serve and enjoy

Whole Wheat Honey & Banana Pancakes

Pancakes! What is there not to like? Bread like goodness with syrup! I have learned however, there is an art to making the perfect pancake and while I am not at perfection level by any means, I have discovered a few key points and created a fantastic recipe for tasty, fluffy pancakes! When making bread, gluten is a good thing; it allows the bread to hold its structure and supports the formation of the gas bubbles created by…
