Pirate Themed Birthday Party
I had no idea this would be one of the most fun party’s to plan and decorate for! My little one is into pirates so it only seemed fitting that be the theme for his birthday. We had his party at an indoor trampoline park and the kiddos had so much fun! Enough of that though here is the details for decorating and the cupcakes/ cake. Since COVID is still a concern I had an individual cake made for him and made cupcakes for everyone else so he could still blow out his candles. Thank God for ETSY and the talented people on there! I have link backs to everything.…
Perfect Cut-Out Cookie Dough!
“Some of the links below are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase” I use this recipe for almost all my cut-out cookies. The texture is perfect and the cookies hold their shape perfectly. I change out the extracts for a variety of flavor and decorate with glaze, a simple buttercream or sanding sugar. I have a Cuisinart Stand Mixer that I love and use religiously. If you don’t have one I highly recommend. There are a ton of attachments that you can purchase separately that are too fun to not add to your kitchen…

Caviar of the South
Okay y’all let’s talk pimento cheese! Now that I am back in the Good Ole South I am introducing foods to Coop that he can’t get enough of! Pimento cheese is one of those foods! A basic recipe only has a few ingredients which include sharp cheddar cheese, mayo and pimentos. The varieties are endless however which can add, hot sauce, jalapenos, onions, and on and on. Pimento cheese can be served as a spread or in a sandwich. I made Coop a pimento cheese quesadilla the other night that he gobbled right up. Mix it with mashed yolks for a twist on deviled eggs! Again the possibilities are endless.…
Lil Man’s First Birthday!
I can’t believe the time has passed as quickly as it has. One year already and it feels like we just brought him home! God has truly blessed us with the most amazing baby and I am so grateful to be his mama. His birthday party was a huge success and I would like to share the details with you! Since we are a huge outdoors family I went with a buffalo plaid and forest theme. Cupcakes were easiest and I found the most amazing recipe that you just have to try even if it isn’t for a party!
