    Lil Hands Breakfast Ideas

    02/27 /2 Comments

My lil dude likes variety when it comes to his food. I don’t blame him being a foodie myself, so I have come up with creative ways to incorporate fruit & veggies into his breakfast. So far they have all been a huge success!   Snowman Banana French Toast:             1 egg Splash of milk 3-4 slices of bread of choice ½ banana Cinnamon Cardamom EVOO for skillet Cookie cutter shape of choice, I used a snowman Whisk egg & milk together until blended. Mash banana in the egg mixture. It is okay if lumpy. Push bread slices in the mixture, both sides, until well…

    Venezuelan Empanada’s

    01/29 /1 Comment

Got this recipe from a friend of mine and I love empanada’s! If you have older kids, this is fun to make with them. Prep Harina Pan as indicated on package. Don’t add sugar however it isn’t necessary. You want a wet but pliable consistency in order to form the dough. (refrigerate for 30 min) While dough is in the refrigerator make your filling. Here are a few examples of what you can make to fill: Taco meat and queso fresco Shredded chicken and cheese Sweet plantain and shredded beef Ham and cheese Dough Prep: Lightly flour a work surface and roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thick. Cut…

    Super Easy Oatmeal Lactation Cookies

    09/25 /1 Comment

I have now tried a dozen or so cookies that are supposed to help with lactation. The problem is I can never eat more than one to see if they really work because they taste so awful! So, I ventured on my own and made some amazing oatmeal cookies with a ton of ingredients that assist in increasing milk. Today is my first day eating them so not sure if they are working but man they help my mood if nothing else! They are tasty and not too sweet so I don’t feel guilty eating two or three through the day.   Ingredients: 1 cup flour ¼ tsp. baking powder…
