The popularity of Florida as a travel destination seems to know no bounds. The Sunshine State already attracted vast numbers of people from the U.S. East Coast, but now it is very much an international destination, with property prices in places like Miami skyrocketing.

Magic Kingdom Park

Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park near Orlando is one of the busiest tourist attractions on Earth, with millions of people flocking to it every year. It provides opportunities to get up close and personal with some of Disney’s most famous IPs, including Cinderella, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Mickey Mouse. It’s the perfect place to take the kids. 

EPCOT

Florida is also home to EPCOT which is close to Disney World. This space-age installation introduces you to cultures from around the world, immersing you in life as people live it around the globe.

However, it’s not all about Disney’s billion-dollar resorts. Florida is a massive state and home to stunning natural scenery that blends the weather conditions of the Med with the white-sand of the tropics. 

Miami Beach, which runs along the seafront in Miami, is perhaps the most famous, featuring numerous nightclubs and stunning art deco architecture from the city in the background. The Keys

The Florida Keys are a chain of islands that extend from the south of the peninsula into the Caribbean Sea. Incredibly, there’s a road that connects many of them, allowing you to drive from the mainland to explore them. 

Why would you visit? Mainly for the stunning natural beauty of the area and the local people’s laid-back vibes. 

Start your adventure in Key West, one of the larger settlements. Then go fishing off the coast of Marathon or swim in Key Largo’s stunning turquoise waters. 

The Everglades

Finally, you might want to pay a visit to the Everglades, a unique geographical and ecological region located in the center of the state. This swampland features marshes, sawgrass, and numerous species of animals you can’t find anywhere else in the country. 

Many people like to tour the region by airboat to see it safely. That’s because the ground is crawling with alligators, crocodiles, and other types of wildlife that would love nothing more than for you to become their lunch.
